Lynn Weddle

My background

I am trained to Postgraduate Diploma Level in Play and Creative Arts Therapy with APAC.  I have worked with children and young people for over twenty years. I am passionate about children and their mental health and well-being and after years of working in the arts I have come to Play Therapy to be able to work more closely with children and their families.

I am based in Brighton with my own playroom as well as working in schools. I am a neurodivergent person with an autism, ADHD and dyslexia diagnosis. I am also solo parenting two neurodivergent children.  

I am a member of PTUK, I have an enhanced DBS check, public liability insurance and attend Clinical Supervision. 

My qualifications: 

  • Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy 

  • Certificate in Therapeutic Life Stories Work
